Episode 2

Summary 

The series continues with a packed show featuring Italian cars, military maneuvers and a journey to Belgium.

Richard Hammond is on the coasts of Lake Como checking the stimulating new Alfa Romeo 4C, a mid-engined machine from among the world's most loved cars makers. Hammond's pleasure of the super-lightweight, 237 horsepower charm is given a sudden stop by the landing of Jeremy Clarkson on a quad bike, requiring a race to the far end of the large lake. Unfortunately for Hammond, Clarkson's quad bike is not completely as it first seems.

Elsewhere in the program, Clarkson is in the pompous environments of Bruge and at the instead less sedate Health club Grand Prix track in order to check a thrilling new type of hybrid hypercar: the stunning, 904 horse power McLaren P1.

On the other hand, James May goes to the vast Camp Bastion in Afghanistan looking at the incredible initiatives behind the military's biggest car redeployment since the Secondly War of the nations.

Lastly, actor Tom Hiddleston, star of Thor, The Avengers and Battle Equine, tries his distribute on the track as the Star in the Reasonably Valued Automobile.
